در مقاله ای که رفیق ارژنگ بامشاد تحت عنوان "رویارویی بزرگ در حاکمیت اسلامی " (1) نوشته ، رویارویی بین جناح های رقیب در طبقه ی حاکم در رژیم جمهوری اسلامی بطور غیر واقعی ترسیم شده است .رفیق ارژنگ از زمان انتخابات ریاست جمهوری یازدهم بر چنین ترسیمی اصرار داشته است . بر اساس چنین تحلیلی ، در زمان انتخابات ریاست جمهوری یازدهم ، جلیلی ، کاندید مورد علاقه ی خامنه ای بود ولی با انتخاب شدن روحانی ، جناح خامنه ای متحمل شکست شد .رفیق ارژنگ با اصرار بیش از حد بر درست بودن چنین تحلیلی در فاصله ی شش ساعت پس از پایان مهلت رای گیری کذایی از مردم می خواست
